How to buy a ticket

Buy tickets from the driver when boarding. Payment by cash or card. A ticket is valid for a single ride on the selected line.

How to install the app

Busek works as a PWA — you can install it on your phone or computer. It takes less than 1 MB and works offline.

Android — Chrome, Edge, Brave

  1. Tap the menu (⋮) in the top right corner
  2. Choose "Add to Home screen" or "Install app"
  3. Choose "Install" (not "Shortcut") and confirm

Android — Samsung Internet

  1. Tap the (+) icon in the address bar
  2. Choose "Home screen" and confirm

iPhone, iPad — Safari

  1. Tap the Share icon (square with an upward arrow)
  2. Scroll and choose "Add to Home Screen"
  3. Tap "Add" in the top right corner

iPhone, iPad — Chrome, Edge

  1. Tap the Share icon in the address bar
  2. Choose "Add to Home Screen" and confirm

Desktop — Chrome, Edge

  1. Click the install icon (download arrow) in the address bar
  2. Click "Install"

Mac — Safari

  1. From the menu choose File → "Add to Dock"
  2. Enter a name and click "Add"

Firefox

  1. Firefox does not support PWA installation — use a different browser

Notifications — limitations

On the tracking page you can set a reminder 5 minutes before the bus arrives. Here is what to know about limitations on different systems.

  • Android (Chrome, Edge, Samsung Internet): full support. Notifications work even when the app is closed.
  • iPhone / iPad (iOS 16.4+): notifications only work after adding Busek to the home screen. Not available in a regular Safari tab.
  • Desktop (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari): notifications work while the browser is running (not necessarily the Busek tab).
  • Rich live notifications — Live Updates on Android 16 and Live Activities on iOS — are only available to native mobile apps. Busek as a web app uses standard system notifications.
  • „Do Not Disturb” mode may block notifications. The web standard does not allow marking notifications as critical — only native apps have that permission.
